Global Partners Meeting of Trout & Partners 2020 Was Held

 

On November 17-18, 2020, Global Partners Meeting of Trout & Partners 2020 was held as scheduled. Partners from China, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Belarus, the Middle East and other countries and regions attended this two-day annual meeting in the form of video conference. They not only shared the practice of Positioning Theory and the upgrading of positioning knowledge in the past year, but also jointly looked forward to the post-pandemic development of global network of Trout & Partners.

According to Deng Delong, Global President of Trout & Partners, Mr. Trout launched the second transformation from marketing to corporate strategy on the application front of Positioning Theory in his twilight years, “Trout on Strategy: Capturing Mindshare, Conquering Markets” was authored and published by Mr. Trout, who emphasized that positioning is the uppermost strategy of an enterprise. Following suit Mr. Trout, upholding that only development is of inheritance significance, global network of Trout & Partners continuously expending the edge of new knowledge by the development of positioning and pushing “Positioning” to a new peak.  

The year 2020 is indeed unusual. In the context of rapid global turmoil and change, Deng Delong highly expected that global partners of Trout & Partners can face up to historic challenges together, make the best of knowledge to play an active role in the stability of human society, help more enterprises, governments and various non-profit organizations achieve external results, thereby converting more uncertainties into certainties.

Subsequently, the Middle Eastern Partner Hasan Fadlallah expounded on the recent business developments in the Middle Eastern and Indian markets. The Middle Eastern business of Trout & Partners centers on Dubai, and covers Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and other countries. Trout & Partners has also started to tap into India, and has rendered strategic positioning consulting services for many well-known local enterprises.

In Europe and Latin America, which are severely afflicted by COVID-19 pandemic, Mexican Partners Irene Medina and Marijana Delac, Spanish Partner Raul Peralba and Austrian Partner Lorenz Wied introduced the initiation and fruit of online business during the pandemic, the innovation and upgrading of Positioning Theory and the latest case practices, respectively.

Russian Partner Evgenii Kadushin shared a case of applying Positioning Theory to a Russian insurer in the past year. Despite fierce market competition, this century-old traditional company has revived by implementing positioning strategy.

In 2020, “Online Positioning Educational Program” has been jointly launched by T&P Russia and T&P China for entrepreneurs. The first session was trialed and promoted in Russia, which attracted more than 50 participants from 16 enterprises and met with a complete success. Russian Partners Olga Smirnova and Vadim Shiryaev described their benefits from the first session. “Online Positioning Educational Program” is about to be formally unveiled. When necessary, localized customized program will be provided by Partners from other countries and regions in view of local conditions.

In concluding remarks, T&P China Partner Neil Huo, shared business innovations and the latest business results of Trout & Partners China throughout the past year, and explained the progress of Trout & Partners Knowledge Center. In the future, global network of Trout & Partners will cooperate more closely and jointly give impetuses to the innovation of positioning knowledge. Trout & Partners Knowledge Center will encompass the global case libraries, and contribute to the online courses and professional cultivation of various branches around the globe.

COVID-19 pandemic not only makes a severe blow to global business of Trout & Partners, but also quickens the pace for the upgrading and iteration of the business lines. In 2020, Baktiyar Mukhamed, a Central Asian Partner from Kyrgyzstan, is welcomed to global network of Trout & Partners.
